Inpipe Sweden AB is looking for a Head of Operations & Development to take a key role in our company and contribute to our vision of delivering the most efficient and environmentally friendly solutions for renovating underground pipe systems.

Location: Vilhelmina, Sweden

Employment: Full-time, permanent position with a six-month probation period.

Your role as Head of Operations & Development

As Head of Operations & Development, you will be responsible for the development of the company’s product segments, production, and installation equipment within established guidelines and budget constraints.

  • Responsibilities include:
    • Leading and developing the company’s development organization, combining strategic and operational tasks with an emphasis on the operational aspects.
    • Ensuring compliance with applicable rules, routines, and policies within your organization.
    • Managing technical documentation, such as test reports, manuals, and guidelines, ensuring they meet the company’s goals.
    • Overseeing the department’s budget, procurement, and inventory of materials for product and equipment development.
    • Procuring services for property maintenance and managing inventories of supplies for daily operations and maintenance.

You will work closely with the development and production teams to establish and enhance effective processes, ensuring seamless transitions between operational areas.

The role involves continuous improvement, internally and externally:

  • Internal improvements: Identifying bottlenecks, investigating issues, setting action points, and driving solutions independently or collaboratively.
  • External improvements: Conducting supplier evaluations, ensuring quality standards, and driving improvement processes.

Much of your work will be project-based, involving extensive external communication, domestic and international travel, and correspondence via email and letters.

You will report directly to the CEO and be part of the company’s management team.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Experience in:
    • Leading development projects in product or production environments.
    • Project management in a technical setting.
    • Quality management in industrial or related fields.
  • Education:
    • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience is desirable but not required.
  • Skills:
    • Structured and results-oriented personality.
    • Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written (German is a plus).
    • Proficiency in Office365 and a valid driver’s license (category B).
    • Proactive, self-reliant, and a strong team player.
